After a chest x-ray, bloodwork and more time asleep than I'd like to admit to.

It's March. That means I've been sick, nearly non-stop (with a few breaks) for almost a year.

When I saw my doctor last week, she advised me this is typical for a new parent with a kid in daycare. Matter of fact, she seems to think I have another six months of this to put in.

Wonderful.

But I'm back at work. Yay.

There may be no way around it, but it might help to eat some extra vitamin C and see if that makes a difference at all. If you have no auto-immune issues, you could also try some Echinacea. When I went through this frequent sickness with Alex in day care, I think I blamed it on just being immunosuppressed, as it didn't seem to hit Danny like it hit me. There's got to be a better way!

Already doing all of that.

I wish I had some magical advice for you, especially since you were such a help when my wound was at it's worst. So I'll just share the remedy for a cold that I was taught in pharmacy school: Add vodka to your OJ: while it may not get you better any faster, you'll notice it less.

Good to hear you are feeling at least some better.
