iPad? God, that would be great for bedside charting. I can't wait for someone to pick that up and run with it. I'm still waiting for the EDI to catch up with the desire for electronic charts for all medical records...what? Oh, sorry. Professional geekage. What, you want to do what with that iPad? PLAY GAMES? Oh, crap. I GUESS SO.

(I'm so locked into getting work done. And much as I steer clear of the medical profession, I certainly seem doomed to get wrapped up in it again someday.)

I see a pad, I see someone writing on it. Someone needing a lot of notes says charting to me - and having had the experience of both paper and electronic medical records, electronic is NIFTY and more people should do them. Problem is, the best example going right now is still doing them with a keyboard, mouse and 14" monitor. With drop-downs. BAH.

Meanwhile, the cool kids are thinking of new ways to RPG with the item. Wish the first thing I thought of was 'PLAY' when confronted with something. I see pens and paper, I think to-do lists.

And something I can't put in my purse or in my pocket is not portable. Sorry.

I can't say how much I want this...polite company, of course.

Holy crap that thing is amazing and I think it's possibly the one thing I would want that does everything! I wouldn't need to carry like 3 notebooks anymore! And I would not need to worry about my pen working... oh god. That's beautiful. Thank you for enlightening me about this possible device!
