Does anyone remember what you folks did up there where The guy from "God Hates Fags" showed up or threatened to show up there for a funeral?

My pals in Hawaii are going to be graced with his presence next spring. They could use some sage advice.

This guy came to San Francisco for Randy Shilt's funeral (SF journalist who wrote "And the Band Played On" on the AIDS epidemic). He was egged and basically stood up to and ended up high tailing it back to the airport.

He's unbelievable....

When he went to Denver to protest at the Episcopal Nat'l meeting, everybody just ignored him. He's a nutjob and has what, eight followers? Bah. He's a laughingstock. :)

The best response is to ignore them.

The next best is to perform a Angel Action. Dress as angels with LARGE wings. Silently stand between them and the event they are protesting. Blocking their message of hate.

Most of them are lawyers, so they finance their "cause" by suing the pants off anyone who physically assults them even in the tiniest manor. They lay defamation of character suits, libel and anything else they can think of.

the phelps brigade is already here. they did a protest in waikiki yesterday and i guess have more planned today. they were like 4 phelpers and a bunch of antiphelpers protesting the phelpers across the street.
