One the qualities my current gig has is that as a cis-gendered, straight woman - I'm a minority. The majority of the people I work with are cis-gendered, gay men.
And who gets to introduce the idea of transgender, genderqueer, gender-spectrum-related language today?
*raises hand*
It's interesting to me discussing the matter, because from my POV of being acceptable, normal, typical, take your pick and so on? I'm always certain anyone not like me? Is going to know more than I do.
