Company changed their vacation policy. Yes, while I was on vacation.
Guess. No, really. You can do this one without me.

Date: 2010-07-06 04:32 am (UTC)...but if you had this vacation duly approved under the old policy, ESPECIALLY if it was in the same pay cycle as the notice of the policy change, they really truly ought not to be able to penalize you. I know that if I, as a supervisor, approved advance paid leave, it would be considered binding unless there were pretty extreme extenuating circumstances. Sometimes saying, "I might ask for this to be investigated" can be just as effective as actually filing the complaint.
