I've spent the last year getting this house sold, only to spend the rest of our lives in a hotel waiting for someone to accept an offer we've hocked our lives to tend.

What have I done.

Sounds hard to be in a spot where you are not sure what the next step is going to be...But, kudos to you for being willing and able to create a new reality for yourself. Keep us updated on how things are going and let us know how we can support you.

I'm confused, wouldn't it have been easier to find the house first before selling the old one?

That makes two of us. We do have our house sold - but it's still in escrow, so any offer we make is contingent on that escrow closing. If our escrow doesn't close, the offer falls out.

We've done this now four times. I want it to be over.

I want to have our next house in escrow before we move out of the one we sold. That's not looking very promising.
