But it's good to be home. Check back with me in a few days, I may have changed my mind by then, though.
Home at 6:00 AM. Bath, drink of water and sleep until 11:30 AM. Get up, talk to real estate agent, check messages and watch some local news - then try to wake up Jim at noon. No go. It's pouring rain and that's his favorite sleeping weather. So, I negotiate sleeping until 1:00 PM. Do you think he wanted to get up then, either?
By 3:00 PM, we're back on the road to pick up the dog from the boarders.
Guys, it is POURING rain. Los Angeles hasn't seen this much water since it watched 20,000 leagues under the sea. The boarders are up in the mountains (check out them here) and we just back from driving in rain, fog, clouds, wind and flying pinecones.
Awful. But now, I can relax, unpack the bags over the next couple of days, knowing everything is home.
Welcome home. Rain all you freaking want.
My birthday is Thursday. *wriggles happily*
