Well, I'm not much given to profanity in speech, and even less so in text, in almost any situation. You're right, though; the lack of cussing was to some extent in respect for Mr. Brinkley and Mr. Peck, who were worthy of better.

They will be missed; they were distinguished gentlemen indeed.

I just found out one of my favorite philosophers also died overnight. Of course, I doubt more than a handful of people over the net would care.

I think your philosopher would disagree with you. We all come, spend our time here and move on. It was just their time to leave. He'd recognize the balance in this.
