Skechers Family Days event coming up in July. You need shoes, you need to talk to me now. 50% off everything in the stores over $20.

I have to be there to get the discount; but I'm going to do one better - you want me to buy you shoes, let me know. You can pay me back later. I know I have LOT, underline LOT of people on my friends list who can't afford a pair of shoes right now.

Size, style and color. Sport shoes run half a size small, leather shoes usually dead on. You don't know what size you are, go get sized. You got time. If I can get what you ask, I'll try to get something close to it.

Trying to be at the store for everyone is a nightmare - this allows me to make one trip count.

Yes, there is an upper limit to how many pairs I can get - but I've never made it yet.

Also, you have to decloak and give me names and addresses for shipping.

If you also need a burger with your shoes, let me know.

*sigh* Go to a store, get sized - find something you like.

Tell me what it is. The style, size and color are on the underside of the tongue in sport shoes - and once you know what that looks like, finding it on other kinds gets real easy.

Try them on. I assure you, the ones I send you won't be any different if I can get the same exact thing at the store down the street.

And being the data geek I am, I can make sure of that.

I mean... I have a deformity. So it's not just "Ooooh, those look cute, got 'em in a 5?", it's a long process of determining whether the toe box has sufficient room and the material won't chafe the mutant toe, etc.; I can't buy shoes without trying them on, walking in them for a while, and getting a professional opinion....
