Wa in my world today -
Aug. 25th, 2005 03:06 pmThere is something to be said for being home, playing a bit on the Mac before packing it up to take to work (to get configured to work from home), and Jim comes home sick in the middle of the lunch hour, and we cross paths.
If we weren't here, that wouldn't be possible. Not even a pipedream.
If we had waited six months to try and move, we would have been priced out of the market.
But we didn't, we bought the house, suffered through an incredible process to move - and have gotten nothing but good things for it.
Being able to tuck the boy in before going back to work was priceless.
No, he's not icky-sick, just recovering from a migraine (and Imitrex) at 4:00 AM.
He was sleeping peacefully, surrounded by fat, happy cats when I left.
And the boss did some incredible things to the Mini for me - and pointed me at some more Good Stuff for when I get home. Yowza.
Hey, G/T/W, thanks? It's been one heck of a mop and bucket week, but everything is working right now - thanks for everything.

Wow. Just. Wow. Everything you can think of, and then some.
