It's a rhetorial question, but I promise to come back and address this later - does anyone really believe you can help make your argument by simply adding to the word count?

I got reamed in school for being wordy - and it was enhanced by journalistic training. If you can't make your argument in 25 words or less, go back and think it again until you can. You can write about the end of the world, and make it the lead paragraph in one sentence with eleven words.

Rant on, dude. I'll be back when work will allow me.

Okay, the house has provided yet again. Last year, it was enough to provide two cars. This year, it may provide two children. All hail the house.

...jeeeebus....

And today marks the beginning of the end of our prior spending habits, and the beginning of new ones. Bad habits being the hardest to break, expect much grousing. But. But. But.

We can begin filling out the forms. Scheduling the meetings. Thinking ahead.

And working very VERY hard at not losing my mind.

So mote it.

I came home and found an envelope in my mailbox. From Jeffrey Yamaguchi.

This Jeffrey Yamaguchi.

He's sent me a [livejournal.com profile] project29 envelope. With a copy of the book - signed. And other lovely things like magnets and buttons and postcards...*swoons*

I am reminded to be my better self. I have been a better self, and it's been slipping lately.

This...was one of the nicest surprises I've had in ages. So many thanks to so many people who remembered me.

*hugs* This is like getting that buttload of tiny valentines on Valentine's Day at school!
