dudemungus and wafflelips - you guys have a good one. I expect to hear about serious cakeage.
I participating in the time-honored, California tradition of spending six hours on the road today to take care of task that will likely require less than 30 minutes to complete. That's right - I'm leaving work to drive to Loma Linda to sit in on a doctor's appointment with Mom today. I'm a good girl. I'm a very good girl. I'll likely be approaching Really Damn Pretty Pink Princess-hood by tonight, but there you go.
The fact this is mirroring Cliff's issues in his last days is not helping, either. At least I'm not doing the mad scrambles to cover bases - but I am being asked to cover some of them. Say no? Me? Nah. Not for Mom.
I'm also going to try to take advantage of being in Stater Brother country to do the Thanksgiving shopping today - so it's not a total wash.
Tonight, we meet with our pet sitter for the trip - and go over stuff.
And life - goes on.
