Nah, not busy. Much.

Since last Wednesday, I have had:

In MAH HOUSE.
Also, I've worked the normal shift.
Gotten a new couch delivered (it's fab!) -
Eaten at all my favorite restaurants, because well - we've got company!
Capped all the kitty claws OURSELVES - and lived to tell the tale.
Discovered that I live too damn close to a reasonably national landmark - Torrance High School, where they did all the school exteriors for Buffy and her friends. (I missed Buffy and her friends, entire, don't forget. All of it. Don't know nuthin')
Played too much AC:WW - including hooking back up with Val last night when she got home to send a kitten home. (Rotten luck - consider. Three DS' - kitten had a 50% chance of showing up in the DS that was home while Val was here. NAAAAAH. We have to wait until she gets home/to dinner, pile into the car and end up at McDonalds at 10:30 last night. As I am eating a very late dinner and muttering to myself about how really really bad this is for me, Jim sends a very cute, but very pixelated, kitten home to her mother. Talk about above and beyond the call.)
And when I talked to Mom Sunday, she waved off lunch and asked for a reschedule. She sounded tired, and I was just too damn busy for her comfort level. Moms. Sheesh! (We'll try this again in a couple of weeks.)
It was just too nice to have River and Charles here for the few hours - they got to meet the rest of the family, have Good Stuff for dinner and ... hopefully it will half-compensate for the horror that is "family dining" for the rest of their stay in El Lay.
And now? I get ready for work.
