Matt Jeffries is gone, folks.
You know who Matt Jeffries is, don't you? He's the guy who designed the first NCC-1701 Enterprise for Star Trek. The one I loved better than any other. He's the guy the Jeffries Tubes are named for.
I hope wherever he is, the ship can really fly for him - and anything else he dreams up can come true.
And I was just looking at sailing ships offshore here this morning and dreaming of sailing aboard a tall ship myself someday....

Date: 2003-07-22 04:04 pm (UTC)Went back and checked. You have wonderful taste in icons.
As well.
At the very, very least...this is a base. And it's Takahashi's artwork - cut down to size from her manga. No more than that.

Date: 2003-07-22 11:50 pm (UTC)Ah well. My annoyance still knows no bounds -- and I still consider it 'mine', Takahashi artwork or not. I still resized it, put it in a neat border, and sharpened the image. It was five minutes of work, but hey, those are five minutes I will never get back, no? Call me anal if you will.

Date: 2003-07-22 11:57 pm (UTC)If that matches yours, then it's definitely my work, and I'd still really appreciate if you didn't use it. ^_^
Yes, as a matter of fact, it is mine, and here's proof.
Date: 2003-07-23 02:06 pm (UTC)There cannot be a copy so exact that it matches down to the file size and the exact pixelation. You are using my icon, my work, and I am politely requesting you remove it: Please remove the icon from your set and make your own icon. ^.^

Date: 2003-07-24 02:15 am (UTC)Unless you drew the item in question yourself, you should really get off that horse- it's too high for you.
Re: Yes, as a matter of fact, it is mine, and here's proof.

Just wondering.
