If Japanese food is based on soy sauce and fish broth; German food is based on butter and vinegar. Lotsa lots of vinegar.

*hack* Don't inhale the red cabbage. I've done it and you won't dig it.

Gee, it's almost 10:00 PM. No wonder I'm tired.

I'd have to agree with you - go into Scandinavia, and the vinegar takes over. Pickled fish!

Between the mustard and the cabbage last night, I ended up a real sourpuss.
