Arnold is going to run for governor. Well, I can think of worse things. Uh, worse things ran for office the last time, hence the pickle we're in. Right.

What I remember? The last election, Arnold sponsored a measure put on the ballot to provide monies for afterschool programs (which passed) - but the kick was that the monies put aside for these programs could not be used for any other purpose. They couldn't raid that kitty to pay for additional road work, shortages in Federal funds, higher energy costs...nada.

Money for kids stays with kids. Finito.

I could think of worse things.
