ACLU's version of the history of the Pledge of Allegiance.

For the record, I believe in God.

For the record, I believe the 1954 version is more constitutional.

For the record, I believe most people think the same thing I do.

And now, I believe I'll have some more Mountain Dew.

Howerver...

The Constitution (of the United States), Article VI, paragraph 3 reads in full:

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the memebers of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Consitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.

I love my boss.

Can we impeach based on ignorance of the Constitution?
