I'm wearing Jim's shorts.

They're a pair he outgrew once he got here. Quick rewind - Jim got here from St. Louis in 2000 weighing a scant 200 lbs. VERY anemic, not a good eater and so forth. I think we've put 40 lbs. on the boy since then - he's happier, but his wardrobe has had to change. The 36" waists just aren't cutting it anymore. *checks waistband* Shoot, this could be four inches smaller and still work.

I've got a pair of the old shorts on. Mind, they aren't a perfect fit - there's plenty of room in them - but they work better than anything else for the day I've had. Which has been plenty of housework and stuff outside.

They're cargo shorts - nothing any female would wear on a bet. Guess where the pockets are. I love them. Jim is NOT getting them back.

Yeah. Anything that doesn't make me look fat, makes me look like a boy. Eh, I'll live.
