Yeah, I noticed. It's because the word count is UP over at Yahoo at the Young Widows Group I moderate.

Think you've had a bad day? Try being 23, in the hospital after giving birth to your first child. Your dream home is in escrow and your husband goes home to get some rest - and dies of a sudden arrest in the hospital parking lot. He's 25.

You're homeless for six weeks while everything gets sorted out.

It's four months later, Thanksgiving is next week and you're wondering if the medication "stops working."

There's four of us working that one right now. That list hasn't been so busy in five years.

I got alerted to some folks who signed on for something other than self-help; a number of people on the list were using profiles citing "Single and Looking" with photographs that nobody could describe as anything other than porn. No, I mean it.

People don't suck; but some individual specimens need to be taken out back and SHOT.

"Help" is a subjective term - I sometimes wonder if all I do is act as a sounding board and resident bobblehead....

Oh that's horrible :( When I hear about things like that I tend to hope I never fall in love. I simply can't imagine. My heart goes out to her (and to you for helping others who've gone through pain similar to your own).
