kyburgDoctors, dentists, pharmacists and others in the health-care industry have been stealing huge sums from California's $25-billion Medi-Cal program despite increased state and federal efforts to combat fraud.
Not the poor saps who have to wait hours, fill out 25 pages of personal data and have the government search up their asses with a microscope...monthly...to receive a pittance in Medi-Cal benefit.
No, just keep jumping the hoops. Meanwhile, after being short-paid for everything, someone finds a way to get more than their share out of the system.
Again, we're back to survival - "I got mine - screw you!"
