I really don't feel comfortable being timely in my rants.

There are days I downright HATE being right.

Some days, the best you can do is say "me too."

The day you start screaming because you can't stand it anymore - and the media picks it up the next day because other people started screaming too....

It's a bit spooky.

As I recall, the Disney family didn't do a fantastic job of running the company. Initially, Eisner did a bang-up job of rennovating and reinventing the Disney Company - I remember.

Now everything is heading for the crapper. Thought for the day: who should take up the reins now?

Go read, Storming the Magic Kingdom, about the most unbiased relation to the take-over attempts of the 80's, Ron Miller's (Walt's Son-in-law) f' ups, and Roy's rally of the Bass Brother's to bring in Eisner and Wells.

No, Ron Miller, Walt's heir apparent sucked. His claim to fame was playing for the LA Rams, and marrying Walt's daughter. The Walt Disney Company has been going in the crapper since Frank Wells died in that helicopter accident.

Oh, and the Nabbe Family *LIVED* the take-over saga. :) 2004 will be a the first year a Nabbe hasn't worked for Disney since the Disneyland openned in '55.

*chuckle* 2 TV stations were over to the house to interview Dad today about it... gotta love it.

Thank you for providing the name - Frank Wells. Yes, I totally agree. It's been a downhill slide since then - and it's nothing but a damn shame.

So who does Dad think ought to take over?
