Charlie often fretted that he had been a disappointment to me. I told him that as long as he loved me, he wasn't a failure in my eyes. At Charlie's funeral, everyone who spoke talked about how much he loved me. I think he had a successful life. As his best friend Jerry said "You had the kind of love they write poems about, and you kept it for 25 years. A lot of people don't have that."
So, making someone happy IS a biggie. *Hug*
