And now, instead of having things kind of scattered around, they are in two huge piles - one in the dining room, one in the middle of the living room. *sigh* Most boxed, but as one knows, the stuff that won't be sorted into nice boxes are usually the things that a) defy sorting, and b) defy dumping.

Jim is sick. Even the painters said I should feed him tequila with lemon in it. I've been a good, if a bit brass-balled, nurse - "Here, eat something."

"Mrph. Not hungry."

"Hurry up and take this - my arm's getting tired."

He sat up, ate his lunch and went back to sleep.

Getting afternoon naps by default and long nights of sleep. Will let you know if that helps things any.

Macaroni and Cheese is the perfect name for this kitten. He's just the color of a pot of Kraft's finest. He's also an avid greeter and has a HUGE engine. He can stay.

Going to try an rip some mp3s off CDs tomorrow. Have no software and no clues. *rolls up sleeves* Well, that never stopped me.

House on the brink of overwhelming. Stay tuned.

MP3 programs

Go to dailymp3.com, as they have a number of CD rippers where you are able to create MP3's directly from the discs itself. Look for "Real Digital Audio", which I use when I'm doing MP3's.

KD .. I wish I could have some of that right now. I miss that about living in Japan - the comfort food. I mean, I use the FBC out of Kobe, but it's expensive (like everything else) .. it's nice sometimes, and they DO have a lot of stuff from home.. :) I love the day when my FBC order comes to my house.. :)

*LOL* AHAHAHA.. that was awesome. I'm going home for vacation, but if you keep in touch, I'd GLADLY send you some Pocky .. I love the coconut ones.. mmmmm.. Pocky rocks..

*sigh* 14 days to go !! I can't wait to get out of this humidity. I love Japan, except in summer. Ugh. I envy Japanese people and their always "fresh" look.. I need to take two showers a day, and I still can't achieve that for more than 10 minutes!

No, I don't use AIM because I'm a Mac user.. *grin* Home for me is London, ON, Canada .. so it's a looong way from here. I don't like their "fake" green tea flavours ...

My hair is super long .. I like it that way - if it's short, it's hell!

There's a really good Linux client for AIM that I use at work....

I'm in Ontario, CA. That's California. You'd think people would figure it out.
