Now, with more content than ever!
Aug. 24th, 2005 01:20 pmToday has been a real mop and bucket day - and it's been like that all week at work.
Yanno, get out the mop and bucket, and clean up the mess. Which mess? Oh, that mess. And that one too. Did you know about the-? No? Well, that's a mess, too.
Sheesh.
And to the guy who emptied the hot pot in the kitchen and didn't put more water in it? DIE.
I'm bushed, and it's just after lunch. Which was a kid's meal from the chinese place next door. Yay, small portions of utter crap. That's what I get for not packing a lunch and rushing out the door today. Because, well, yanno, I knew I had clean up to do and wanted to get in early. Yay me.
I'm enjoying Sims2 almost too much for my own good, but I found out a couple of things that make it a semi-bummer. At least for me.
One, they only ported the Sims2 over to the Mac OS X platform last June, and they have no plans now to port the expansion packs at all. I've also been told by Aspyr that downloading anything custom won't work, either.
So if I want another neighborhood to play in, I have to get the Sim City 4 for the Mac and go for it myself. Yay me. I'm already spending too much time on this as it is.
But I keep thinking of things I want to try while I sit here and wait for call backs - which has to be the reason I'm still spending so much time on it. It's fun. What a concept.
Jim now checks on "the troops" in the evening before going to bed, and lets Rei out to find rodentia - which I find amusing. He's never seen a cat hunt mice before. *chuckles* He's amazed, and I'm laughing. It also looks like he will be going up to Seattle with me and the kitties over Labor Day, finding someone to cover for his one Sunday on. *whew*
Ah - another mess! Gotta run -
