Get in, sit down, hold on and shut up.

Get over it. You get over it.

Haha, stupid Florida Congresswoman! The U.S. Government would never allow International Monitors for an election anyway. She's an out right idiot; not surprising she's from Florida. :p

Makes you wonder what else has been stricken from the records, doesn't it?

Things that are stricken from the records are still known. Lawyers do this all the time in cases, saying stuff that they damn well know will be taken' off the records because it lays blame, states an opinion, or whatever to get their point across to whoever is judging. Regardless that her words got stricken from the record; she was still heard by reporters and viewers of C-SPAN (are there viewers?). She made her point across in the end.

As for other things stricken, I wouldn't worry... nobody actually goes back and read the Library of Congress logs anyway. Only if you were a researcher from way in the future this might pose a problem.

Yeah, but you can't prosecute a case with stuff "off the record."

For shame. You should have seen the dusty old crap I used to read doing research.

Funny, I don't think she's an idiot at all. In fact, I wish several dozen like her would also speak up, because International Monitors would be a damned good thing, under the circumstances. In fact, dare I say it, I think a President whose first term came about under such a cloud would want it to be known to all that he was elected fair and square this time and has the mandate of the majority.

I'm still holding out wating for Bush to postpone elections until after America is "more secure" because of terrorists and stuff--sounds crazy, but so did the Patriot act!

That woman kicks ass. I think she was also in Fahrenheit 9/11, trying to protest the election, but all the people in the Senate were too sissified to sign her bill.
