I think the browser is called Silk in Kindle OS, and I have a page that opens on the most used sites as a default.
What I’ve found a lot of fun and instantly diverting is The Gutenberg Project, and searching by categories.
I have works by Susan B. Anthony on women’s suffrage to read now. I read the most charming treatise on traveling with a baby on trains during WWII yesterday.
Isn’t this a delightful step back in time? Keep in mind, cultural framing is what it is and privilege is in full play here, but.
The words are there to read. And while I am still able to read while I wait this virus out (fever, laryngitis, fatigue), I can let the Kindle go get the books for me.
You might take a gander as well.
