I'm gonna be the unpopular one and say I think her cover is actually interesting. Bluegrass arrangement and very slightly tweaked vocals to suit her spirituality.

You know, I would give it a listen. For example, who would have imagined that Johnny Cash's cover of a Nine Inch Nails song would have been so poignant. I think it is brave of her to go outside of ner genre.
