You poor thing. No, I mean it. You're probably looking at my choices and shaking you head in abject confusion. It's okay, I've seen it before and it's totally okay.

If you look at my AO3 profile, you are probably wondering WTF I was thinking, choosing what I did to put on request - it's really simple.

I just don't hear much from those corners of my interests, and this is a great time to shake things loose and clean out the cobwebs.

I'm one of those people who just doesn't give a fuck about being the target demographic. Wild Wild West and Nero Wolfe trend towards the misogynist, Pokemon is for kids.

Yeah, well. Sure. Let's see if we can do something about that. If these are that, take a stab at WHY. I've always maintained that for one stupid thing we do to women, we do two stupid things to men and wonder why we end up with people who can't stand themselves or people in general, let alone calling out their hatred of women. So, let's work with that.

If we are adults, instead of children.

If you pulled Pokemon, tell me about the adults. They were all challengers and ultimately champions - then what? You don't get to journey forever, and someone has to keep the lights on at the Pokemon Centers. I am playing Go, I am loving it - and I love the gym leaders. (#TeamValor)

I love stories with clearly defined beginning, middle and end. Wrap it up with a pretty bow and I am SET.

I am also a California native, and took the Western Literature class (I'd already read EVERYTHING on the SF Literature class, so I wanted something more) in college - WWW is one of those that sings to me in the oddest moments. I know their world, I know where they went and why and the steampunk elements just frost the cake there for me.

I have the Nero Wolfe cookbook. That should tell you something.
