Artists’ Books, Week 3!
This week, we finish the catalogs and collaborative books and begin with individual artists, last names that start with “A” (Erika Adams and Fernando Aguiar).
I was pleased to find a collaborative book published at the University of Iowa Center for the Book from Combat Paper’s residency in 2010. Here’s an article for more information on the Combat Paper Project, including a video, and here is a link to their website.
We had the pleasure of meeting Drew Cameron, the director and founder of Combat Paper, in February 2015, when he visited Iowa City to offer a workshop in papermaking and screen printing with dyed paper pulp and for a musical performance in conjunction with the Kronos Quartet.
