Mememememeooooow!

Ten things I've done that you likely have not (thank GOD):

* I've married every man I've had sex with.

* I've taken the GMAT twice; I've gotten a perfect score on the essay portion both times. (But because I suck at math, no grad school for me....)

* I've bottle-fed baby just about everything. With varying degrees of success.

* I lit a candle for Gene Roddenberry when he died in a cathedral in Switzerland. (Einsiedeln, if you want to know.)

* I've met Scott Bakula twice; the first time, he was wearing the dress.

* I've had three house fires. One of them was started by the smoke detector. I still have the business card from the bomb squad.

* I survived an encounter with a night light at age three which cost me 50% of my lower lip in a third-degree electrical burn. (I was also the kid who lost a toenail over drop-kicking a rock like a football, took mice away from the cat and ate garden snails...according to my Mom.)

* I still play with dolls. And train sets.

* I'm so loosely jointed, I can still bend fingers backward - and if I really wanted to and worked at it, I could likely still touch the back of my head with my feet like I did in high school. I can still clasp my wrists behind my back - the long way, one hand over the shoulder.

* I've worn cat's-eye glasses - they were what one wore in the early 60's. Pink and blue ones. *shudder*

I had no idea that Gene Roddenberry died in a cathedral in Switzerland!

We have too much in common

Well, I've done two of the things you've done, and I've had similar experiences to a few others.

I've met Scott Bakula a few times - the first time, he was on crutches and wearing a tight fitting Future Boy costume. (Remember, I was travelling companion to the Lucky Bitch. :}

On the other end of the spectrum, I too wore cats-eye glasses, blue ones. (Because they brought out my blue eyes, my mom said.) But I wore them in 1969, 1970, when they were no longer in fashion. I was 8 and 9. My mom liked them. Sigh.

OK, similar, but not exactly the same.

I was also an accident-prone kid, only I broke my front teeth running with my shoelace untied.

On the SAT and GRE, did really well on the English section, only fair on the math.

Married all but 1 of the men I've had sex with. Ok, numerically that's close, but conceptually, I realize, quite different. :)

That's really not encouraging for the life of my smoke detectors. :D

Me too, with great gusto.

Do I want to know what happened with the night light?? I left more skin and teeth around our farm than I care to remember. It got to be a running joke at our church that if I didn't have a bandage somewhere something must be wrong.

I've married every man I've had sex with, too. And so has every other man who has never had sex with another man. :-)

I still play with dolls, but not trains. I have my Amidala dolls displayed on my TV set.

Oh boy, I remember - he'd borked the ankle shooting "Future Boy" - *laughs* Spent the week looking like a baked potato on sticks -

(Hey, tell me true - don't you feel you ended up the luckiest bitch of the bunch?)

Don't wire them directly into the house power. *nods*

Very curious kid, I was - decided to see what light tasted like - and got the shock of my life.

I have dolls going back to when I was ten or so, packed away of course. No place to put them out in any kind of safety. Still working on that, of course.

No, simple logic.

I have had sex with zero men.
I have been married to zero men.

The set of all men with whom I had sex is equivalent to the set of all men with whom I was married.

It is a true statement that I have married all of the men with whom I have had sex, because there exist no men with whom I have had sex but to whom I have not been married.

Actually, if you want to argue semantics, I have married two men.

To each other.

Me too, for the cat's eye glasses. My first pair was pink, the second pair blue. *shudder*

I'd love to hear more about the Scott Bakula encounters, especially the one with the dress! :)

Heh. I'm loosely jointed too- I can't remember what the name for it is- hypermobility syndrome? I think that's it.

I can turn my thumbs completely backwards. *that's* good times, especially to watch reactions on other people's faces. ;)
