caltan. Rarely fails to make me laugh out loud (particularly over her user log reports) - but another journal is elorie's - who, I really feel sells herself short on a regular basis. At times, she's absolutely brilliant.

Now. You have to understand how this mind worked. I read the list. It wasn't hard to match some people up with their signs.
Shall I go on? Actually, it verges on picking on my friends and family. So I'll put it behind a cut.
..an Aries. Empathy, what empathy? Huh? Why did that hurt your feelings? That would be Jim. Except that once he discovers he's slammed the door in your face when he wasn't thinking, he's heartbroken. Big puppy-dog eyes heartbroken. And then he spills soda on you.
..a Taurus. It's their stuff. It will always be their stuff. You can be married ten years and they will be able to tell you which books and CDs are yours and which ones are theirs. They might, however, forget your birthday. That's my Mom all over. She doesn't forget my birthday though - though she didn't speak to me for two weeks after I eloped. (I took 'her' wedding away from her, y'understand.) I can well imagine how long she would have sulked if I had tried to do a traditional one - she wouldn't have gotten anything close to what she wanted - in every case, she never has. What would that be? Your guess is as good as mine. It's just not what she wanted. Whatever it is.
..a Gemini. You will never get a word in edgewise again. Thank God I haven't know many of these. They'd be dead and I'd be in prison.

Checked the update website for Anime-Expo, and lo and behold - the voucher system rules aren't included in the revamp. Called the office - confirmed. They're considering dropping it. I assured the nice lady who answered the phone (Katie? Nice lady.) that no, it wasn't frustrating - it was unfair.
I'll consider going this year if that policy is dropped. If you need your memory refreshed, I had some issues with the passes for hotel stay policy the convention has had in the past.
If you would care to, you can do the same. Go ahead. The email comment widget isn't working right now - but there is a phone number. They even tell you when it's manned.
Hmm. The Ani-Matsuri sounds interesting. Wonder if the Japanese-American museum would be interested in setting up a booth. I'd help man it in a hot second.
