Follow up. After watching the news Tuesday night, Malissa Burnette, former chair of South Carolina's domestic violence task force, did something she's never done before, "I was so shocked. My husband and I, our jaws dropped when watching the television, and I called today to thank WIS for covering that issue." Ya think?

Feminism, at the very bottom where the rubber meets the road, isn't about birth control, man-hating and lesbianism.

It's about making it acceptable to be female. And somehow, removing the idea that it's some kind of birth defect that makes you a second-class of human being.

That's where it begins. Cases like this one convince me anything more in today's CW is gravy.

Since I actually live in SC, I attempted to email Altman. I looked on the state webpage and couldn't find an email address for the freak. Either they were forced to take his address down because the system was overloading, or the little freak is so backwards he doesn't use email.

Chickens have more rights in this state than people. At least they’re going to make a crime against a chicken (cock fighting) a felony, while domestic violence remains a misdemeanor.

And on the 3rd time you beat your wife you can get 90 days in the slammer. that was on the news last night. Cockfighting will carry a penalty of several years.
