I adopted a kitten from an animal trainer who got them from somebody after the mother cat jumped out of the window of the car they were all in at the time.

And the kitten? Ran right out in front of a car the moment she got out of the house. *shakes head* Not a thing I could do about it, and yeah, it sucked big narsty - ahem.
