I'm about 100 yards from the ocean, so I was concerned. I'm also about 3 feet above sea level. At least there are a few boats I can 'borrow'.

at first, the idea of a tsunami hitting san fransisco scared the shit out of me. not because of all the people who would die (i assume a tsunami hitting anywhere populated would kill a bunch of people) but because we would never hear the fucking end of it from the christian (and muslim) right. "god has sent his justice down on those evul evul gays" *suddercringe*

my boyfriend reassures me, though, that sanfrancisco is too hilly to be wiped out, so it shouldn't be a problem. i certainly hope so.
