Oh the crack just won't stop.

I ordered my Tanita scale, and just for kicks and giggles, actually tried to use the weight manager my Palm has on its "productivity card" -

Uh, to hit my goals by the end of the year? It says I can only eat 980 calories a day.

Something tells me this is a Bad Idea. Just...something.

In other news, there is really is nothing hot tea won't make a whole lot better. Really really.

(Of course, that allows that some numbnut didn't steal all of it. Yes, two brand-new cans of Republic of Tea gone today. *&^#@!)

And the Chinese Buffet we tried out for dinner tonight was nifty, spiffy and they used something closely resembling margarine to cook everything in. Just trust me on this one. I won't be going back. And no, I didn't notice at the time. (..my lower GI hates margarine. Big stabby, pointy hate. Ow.)

I'd ask for a vacation, but if the crack followed me on vacation, it wouldn't help.

I have never eaten at a Chinese Buffet, the idea kind of frightens me.

Hi, I'm Chinese, and you are absolutely right to be frightened at the thought of the words "Chinese" and "Buffet" together.

Path of least resistance last night - well, won't make that mistake again.

This one had a "mongolian BBQ" corner in it - all fresh, all cooked in front of you stir fry, so it wasn't all bad....

I can't believe somebody stole your tea. The nerve of some people.

Unfortunately, you are going to need to call ahead and find out if restaurants use butter or margarine. And I bet you can a lot of places because butter is out of style right now.

I can manage just about anything oil-based, but once they make shortening out of it, I'm usually in beeeeeg trouble.

That, and if they really use something cheap and indigestible, it's all over.

When I eat out, I don't eat at Chinese restaurants. They have a baaaad habit of using... *drumroll* LARD. To cook their veggies especially, because it makes them look greener. They buy lard in enormous tins, and keep reusing it. Unfortunately I don't think I am making a sweeping generalization here.
