Except that careful examination of him (frame by frame as he's raising his hand), as well as observation of the thickness of his wrist and the actual lines of his hand reveal that it would have to bend impossibly far to one side to be his middle finger, also it would have to have a chunk missing from the bottom right of it.

This arguement made 3 pages on Something Awful before the original poster was panned for using Jay Leno as a source.

Yeah, I've seen clips of him doing it too. It would be nice if he had done it there too, but the hand position would make it painful, if not impossible, to flip the bird.
