Yay MONDAY

The weekend, she contained mud, weeds, an 11-year boy and much carnage. Oh, and some significant amounts of Tired.

But the yard looks better - and I think we're going to do this again. Borrow my niece's boy for a weekend. We all enjoyed it.

I need to call the trash people today - we're going to have a huge pickup this week. All the cans are filled, and we filled at least another 10 lawn-size bags as well.

The south forty is just that much closer to being a garden, but it's going to take at least another session of roto-tilling, and then the addition of some soil conditioners, and maybe some geese to get the nut grass up.

Monday. Computers! Yay!

Fun, hmm. That's still up in the air - it was desperately needed, and all...but fun, I don't know about. *grins*

And the rest? Don't worry about it - and stand firm. Get the car you want. You're going to have it a long time....

*snicker* Are you sure you would have done the gardening if you hadn't enjoyed doing it, even if it is sometimes a chore? =)

As for the car... I told my mother I didn't want the Camry... and she? Promptly got huffy on me and practically hung up in my ear.

Bah, humbug to her.

I ended up at the Glendale Galleria Build-A-Bear and got 2 bears, one in a Mulan outfit (named "Pretty Mulan" via Chinese translation. =) ) and the other was just a be-ribboned Candy Corn bear. I need to get another Candy Corn bear for terredancer... TOOO cute.

Any word on Knotts and Disney?

I'm passing on the Disney trip this week - too expensive, and it was too crowded the last time I was there. Haunt is this Thursday. Can you hang with that? We're not doing dinner there, and since Jim has Fridays off, it's no stretch for him -

Thursday? That's the 29th. I can't if it's Thursday. Too little time to go and get up by 5am to be at work Friday.
