Aw, frack.
Oct. 27th, 2005 10:18 amMom's in the hospital. Brother took her in last night with 102 temp, and they kept her overnight. Which is a subjective term, considering she was put to her bed at 3:00 AM this morning.
A dose of antibiotics and she's down to 97 point something this morning. The concern, of course, was the elevated numbers. And they are now talking failure now, so no surprise there. But, still.
I expect to hear more life-changing stuff later today. Nothing life-threatening, mind.
But I called Older Brother and left a message at his office. Yanno. Just to cover the bases.
Not like he's talking to us, after all.

She's eighty. *sighs*

Best wishes for your mum!

Date: 2005-10-28 12:03 am (UTC)BTW, what are you two doing around mid-May? We'll be in Canoga Park for my great-aunt's 100th birthday. Can we visit? It's a lot closer to drive to where you are from Canoga Park than it is from, say, here.
Nevermind that we will, in fact, be driving from here to Canoga Park, and then to Yosemite.
