Depends. If you are closer to the 605, take it. If not, get to the 110 (and try to get carpool ballast. I don't care. The more, the merrier!) and get off at the Artesia Transit Center offramp, off the carpool lane past the 91 exit.

Honestly? When we came home from their place on Thanksgiving, we took the 110 home. We're in San Gabriel, between San Gabriel Blvd and Rosemead, between Duarte and Las Tunas.

Hmmm... best route and times depends on time of day and time of week.

If you know how to get on the 110, then take that south, get off on Torrance (this will be after you pass 105, 405, and 91), and there are surface streets from there.

Then again, it's not like I know much of anything.

Considering that you live near me, I'd say you know a WHOLE lot more about this. Anyway, my problem is that I have a rehearsal at 5pm that day, so I'll want the best/fastest route, so I'm not late.

How you could possibly be late to an open house is beyond me. I've closed the doors after midnight the last (*counts on fingers*) three or four years, at least. People get here when they get here. There will be food and good cheer no matter when you get here. Don't sweat the small stuff - and this definitely falls into that catagory.

Eh, I meant late to rehearsal, actually. But since you mentioned that you'll be open late, stopping by at 9:30 might be easier than rushing back for the grinch rehearsal at 5pm.

Six of one, half-dozen of the other - I do believe driving long distances on Christmas Eve are not to be recommended after 10:00 PM, however. You can expect every fifth driver to be under the influence on a regular night; Christmas Eve parties?
