You can well imagine what they did to the Christmas tree. Mid-air un-decorating now in full swing. Tree's too dense to climb. No problem!

My mom usually decorates the mantle every december with my great-grandmother's nativity scene and some various bulbs and ribbons. This year, the cats would NOT leave it alone -- after the older brat knocked down the third bulb so the younger one could bat it around (or chew on the glass if it broke), we took all the bulbs down.

As for the tree, we decided not to risk any of the good glass or crystal, so our tree was rather sad this year. It had like... 10 decorations and some tinsel.

Cats = small children without midnight feedings.
