I've discovered I've double-booked my Saturday, even after waving off

caitlin for Gallifrey Con (I might be out there Sunday, Jim on Friday. Got to get the boy back to the girl tonight....).

Dolls and crazy redheads await me on Saturday. You want the real Irish variety, you get few of purer ilk than my old train commuting buddy Hiawatha. Complete with motor mouth and frenetic temper. I adore her dearly for both. (The red hair and green eyes are original equipment - and she married a very dryly humorous Chinese fellow after courting him for 14 years. She's tenacious too, folks!)

Gods, the stuff we used to pull. We did complete birthday parties - cake, balloons and all (and sneaky sneaky beers) for the conductor on the train we routinely took home. Coffee every morning.

She's in Nevada City now - I'm still down here. We must trade a dozen emails a day - not many of them more than a sentence or two long. Motor-mouth - yup.

nytshaed is showing up Saturday for more dollie kool-aid. There will be grilled cheese, oh yes there will be.

And Hiawatha is coming down for the weekend - I suspect she'll arrive about the same time Nytie will.

This - could be gruesome and grand. And very, very much fun. When worlds collide - the results could be devastatingly good.

Me? I suspect alcohol will be in the offing. *nods* Yup!
