I need some advice. The DS I bought didn't come with a manual. Is there anything special I need to do (like, say, charge it for 12 hours or something before I use it) in order to use it?

Not a bad idea, but you can just plug it into the wall and play happily at the same time. That's what I do every now and again, especially in the car.

Have you picked up Animal Crossing? Would you like us to?

As for Animal Crossing, no I haven't yet. My amazon.com wishlist is full of games and such I'd like... I don't know if I'd play Animal Crossing, but at least now you know I have a DS. *g*

Hmm. It would be an incredible piece to have in a portfolio, wouldn't it?

It would make sense, if they were shopping the CG work for the movie, wouldn't it?

I definitely hope the movie will be good. The hype at last year's Comic-Con was great (and had ridiculously attractive booth babes!) but I know that inevitably it is going to be a horrible horrible movie - if only because it will never be as good as I "remember" it to be.

Nostalgia can be a horrible horrible thing sometimes.

I have the (?) advantage of being old enough that Transformers were never "good."

But then again, you're talking to the girl who rewrote Speed Racer to suit herself when she was 14.
