I do, but only because I have really long hair, so if I'm washing it that commits me to a much longer shower than if I just put it up under a shower cap.

That said, someone trying to give me one as a present if it wasn't /really/ cool would be glared at. Nor would I have ever wanted that package of stuff, much less as a present.

Yes, a showercap would have to be cool to be a present. I would wear one if it had Cthulu on it or something. Or if it looked like a giant brain. Because... ew, brains.

That kind of package is the kind of thing I could have gotten from someone my parents knew (very churchy people) as a teen. Just ick.

I'm far too well-versed in the double-think of the thoughtless Christian. It amazes me now, looking back, how pervasive the mindlessness was and how much it was embraced. I probably would have remained a Christian if I'd had access to thinking, critical Christian company.

I definitely could have used some thinking Christians when I was growing up. >_< Not that all Christians are brainwashed, but I definitely was when I was a kid. All my beliefs came from my mom and it took a long time for me to finally start to open my eyes and decide things for myself. I still consider myself Christian, but I don't practice (as in going to church) b/c all I see is that same mentality of "if you don't believe exactly what we believe, then you're against us" and I just think too much for myself to be in that kind of environment.

I think sitting on the showercap might be sacreligious! o.o!!! It could touch your nethers. It's almost birth control if you use it DOWN THERE. Too close to a condom. Children could get the wrong idea.

They should stop including such a sinful thing in their product. Water is supposed to touch your hair in the shower! Your *cough*bottom*cough* is supposed to get wet after a rain! God would have made hair and *cough*bottoms*cough* waterproof if he'd wanted them to stay dry.

I don't think this Evil so much as Incredibly effing stupid and irresponsible. I just don't get how some religions can still hold such a naieve stance towards birth control and sex ed in this day and age. it IS possible to teach kids about abstinence being the best policy and not be so cloying or avoidant.
