Brand X had me up at 5:30 AYEM this morning. Thanks, guys. Oh, and because of them? I get to be the Prisoner of Dallas on the 13th of October. Yup, a third business trip to the land with no natural topography for a four hour training session. Which means?

I get to fly in, sit down and absorb, and then go home. I won't be staying over. Spare time? Measured in hours. Sorry guys, better luck next time.

Maybe I can get to a supermarket just once while I'm there. I'm weird that way.

I fear the food. Luna bars will definitely be my friend. That, and Famima.

Yes, they are adding Pets with the next expansion - go take a look over here at the 'designers' trailer.

It appears that the pet count does not impact the total count on a lot (which currently, is 8 Sims. You need a hack for more.) - and some people will be very pleased at the breeds included. Like, Norwegian Forest Cats? Yup.

I can't wait to try my hand building a BobDog and a Dini. Schipperke! (Yes, we've had two in the family. They are...memorable. Mostly for their OMGWHACK qualities.)

*yawn* I need a nap.

Just be glad you're stopping in DFW and not changing planes there. DFW as a destination is not so bad. DFW as a place for changing planes... I'd say it was hell on wheels, but the wheels came off a long time ago and you're left sitting on the bare axles...

And, yeah, I imagine the shuttle bus drivers get tons of extra sympathy rations to cope with all the harried passengers... I hadn't thought of that trick, but it's not a bad one. Assuming he's running the loop the right way...

Of course, that assumes I *ever* have to deal with DFW again. Much rather go through Houston, where there's barbecue in the food court. Real Texas beef brisket sliced and served steaming by a big black dude who has probably been doing this for decades, and long neck Lone Stars to go with.... mmmmm. It's almost worth booking instead of a nonstop.

i had the sims when it came out but i didn't play it much... i can see buying the sims 2 just for the pet expansion however. i like that the animals are realistic... well, not all of them were in the video, but the cat had some cat mannerisms that someone clearly studied well. the dog having a job was hilarious though. it made my day so much more amusing.
