Yes, with the new expansion pack for Pets - we complete the set. Zombies. Vampires...and now, Werewolves.

There's a reason I haven't given in to WoW, CoH or the like...or even tried a BPAL selection of any kind. I know the risk of getting hooked and dragged under.

Besides.

Sims 2 is cheaper. (Certainly cheaper than a trip to Volks, I daresay....)

I have them all, for both the PC and the Mac (the PC is the "test bed').

may i ask if you know of a good place to get the games for macs? besides, of course, the apple store. are there any good places that sell for a discount, or is that highly unlikely? i know PC game prices decrease over time, but sometimes mac prices are slower about it... *sigh*

Yanno, Froogle is the place - you know them, right? Really cheap just doesn't exist, though - that's why I still don't have any Adobe suite products yet. (No Premiere, no Photoshop, nothing - )

Wow. I didn't know about the Zombie or Werewolf thing. I didn't even know it for normal Sims, let alone pets! zomg, my life will be the Sims 2 for a while. ^^

You know, I downloaded a video EA did, one of the "how do you Sim" spots - Zombies vs. Vamps, Zombies win - I ought to upload it and link it, I think they've taken them down off the TS2 site. It's a riot.

There were Zombies with University? Really?? I've had that one since it came out and never knew! O.o I knew about the Vampires... I've never met a Zombie sim. Wow!

It's part of the Psychic job track - the career prize is a phone that quite literally raises the dead - just make sure you pay enough for the priviledge, or what you get is - wait for it - a zombie, instead.

Okay. I was totally gonna be all "Pfft! You can have vampire werewolves and zombie werewolves in D&D 3.5 too!!"

And then I thought, "Waitaminute! Werewolf vampire... zombie??? Isn't that some sort of undead redundancy there?? How are can you be a mindless, reanimated corpse AND a cursed, bloodsucking fiend, too??"

WoW is overrated. It's supposedly only really fun if you're up for giant group excursions. When it's just one person, or you and one other, it's not as exciting. Neverwinter Nights is superior in the RPG thing. Online? No, but still superior, plotwise.

That said, Pets! Woo! If only I could get my game to stop crashing.

Start with the basics - match your system's resources against the minimums required (and they are pretty stringent - if they say you need the processing speed and RAM, they're serious), and then work on the video card.

Do that - let me know the results. I can always do a housecall. ;)

Never played WoW, as I don't need yet another addiction, but .... FFXI.. Very fun :)

However I think all the games will be losing my participation for a few months come the 31st. FFXII comes out!
