Date: 2007-01-12 07:40 pm (UTC)My daughter wants to get a Ragdoll kitten but I dunno. They grow as big as Maine coons - and sometimes bigger. I'm all for rescuing cats and dogs. All of ours have come to us by direct rescue or from a shelter but I'd take one look at that one and walk on by. My first reaction would be
1.) I can't afford to feed it, and
2.) I have no idea how to treat a feline heart attack.

We always kept him inside, better for him, but also a mercy for the innocent creatures he might encounter out there.
