That's been this week. I've got a cranky boss who has been pressing all my buttons, an increasing workload, taxes due this week (and I always end up paying, that's why I wait to the last minute) and a very lean pay period. If I couldn't tell by my mood (which has been abysmal this week), I can certainly tell by the scale.

I'm supposed to be hovering right around my goal weight on maintenance - what I've done is continue to lose weight. You might think this is good - except I was the one who was 95 lbs at this height at one time.

Currently, I'm now at a new low, near 130 lbs. I should be about 135 - I have a Tanita digital scale, which can see changes of less than half a pound. While I was losing, I would jump on every day to check my work - and learned a lot that way.

I've already added the sake, ice cream and chocolate.

This is a whole lot more like my teens and twenties than I need the reminder for. Comparatively, this isn't a lot of weight (but I remember how long it took to get the last five pounds off while I was losing, and it seemed a whole lot longer than two weeks) - but it's another button getting pushed.

I have a weigh in on Sunday - we'll see if they have anything to say about it. I think it's also time I addressed some of the mood issues as well. There are things leftover from that botch of a therapy cycle DCFS made us do that need attention - now that all the paperwork is in, perhaps I could go get it taken care of on the quiet.

I'd like a weekend now, kplz thx bye whatever.

I've already added the sake, ice cream and chocolate.

Hopefully not together. Ice cream and chocolate can coexist nicely, but I'm doubtful on the sake. ;)

Stress and losing weight, I'm right there with you. {{hugs}} Is it a Scorpio thing going on?

Here's hoping both our lives decide to be good to us, our stress levels abate, and our weights level off. {{hugs}}

If I could put some in a box....

I like cold sake - and I have a lot of favorites, so I rarely get the big bottles. The cold sakes I like tend to be ginjo sakes - and crisp-cold, they are the BOMB with chocolate.

They also can knock you on your butt with little effort. Ever had plum wine?

Sake and chocolate? I did not know that. So I learned something new today. Thank you.

No, I've never had plum wine, but I am willing to bet I would like it a lot.

It's like drinking candy with 100% proof punch. If you've had mead, it's like that in that it's that sweet....but smooooooth.

I know what you mean, despite the lack of my normative prolific whining (at least by comparison to my usual amounts), things have been rather rough of late. I honestly can't say what it is, but I really don't know ANYONE who's having a good April this year. Here's hoping we can all just grit our teeth and bear it for another few weeks, maybe things will turn around with the advent of summer.
