Festival of Books - UCLA, fun starts at 10:00 AM, ticket office opens at 9:00 AM.

Dinner at Curry House in West LA, to be followed by dessert at Beard Papa's and karaoke after that. (Blame catsonmars. His idea.)

Lather, rinse, repeat on Sunday. (Although the Curry House and Beard Papa's again on Sunday? Maybe not.)

Curious? Google it - the LA Times sponsors it, and what they don't tell you is that everyone and their uncle is exhibiting as well as the 400 authors talking about writing writing writing. Uh, Ghiradelli is showing up to hand out samples. YO.

Hey, I'm trying to find out who's winning the Los Angeles Times Book Prizes tonight at the awards banquet. One of my authors is a finalist. I'm checking the LA Times website but nothing yet.
