A login date (LID) is the date our application was received, accepted and logged in with the Chinese Adoption authority - and your application is processed for referral by that date and your wait is calculated from that date. (12 months from LID to referral, etc.)

Right now, the wait is somewhere around 18 months - they are still working on LIDs from 2005 (November) right now - in the last 23 days, they got through 6 or 7 days of LIDs.
