He found me. 1993 me. 1993 in front of NBC PISSED me.

Here you go. Proof positive the lengths I'll go to for something I truly believe in.

I knew we had been on the evening news, but I'd never seen the footage. Until now.

I was on a third round on antibiotics for an upper-respiratory at the time, was still running a low grade fever and barely had voice enough to talk.

We did NOT go quietly.

And I'm also sporting the last of the poodle perms I'll ever have in this lifetime.

Oh, good times. Good, good times.

YAY! [livejournal.com profile] stormdragon was randomly going thru 80s shows and he happened upon Quantum Leap and just kept poking thru YouTube vids. While he brought this one up, I mentioned, "Heeeeeey, Donna worked on a campaign to save... HOLY CRAP THAT'S HER!" :D teh awesome!

I love you for this. ^_^

Not to make you feel old, but Quantum Leap was a happy memory from my childhood. I used to watch it w/my mom all the time. I've loved it all this time and now I'm collecting it on DVD. I've been surprised by just how much I do like it now as an adult. It's so wonderful and I think it's just a crime that Scott Bacula didn't win an Emmy for the show.

Alas, the show was cancelled, but it's great to see so many people put up a fight. But don't the good always die young, like Firefly many yrs. after Quantum Leap?

I always wondered what happened to that show. I liked it!

And, now, your 15 seconds of fame is immortalized on Google servers forever.

I loved the huge glasses you were wearing! So cute! :)

*hugs you*

You're an awesome person, Donna. I should visit you more often than once per year.

P.S. - I would have left this comment last night but LJ was down for maintenance. So... I left this window open on my computer so I could reply to you as soon as I woke up!

Ah, fandom. It amuses me greatly that it was around long before Harry Potter or Firefly. I used to watch Quantum Leap with my mom before ST: Next Generation came along.

While I don't think I've technically had my 15 minutes, my Mom was on Jeopardy in the 80's. And yes, we still have them on tape.
